Cork 2013: New Ashton School block by Callaghan Engineering

Ashton Comprehensive in Blackrock, Cork, will get a new three-storey school building in August, with the completion of a major €6.7 million construction project.

Ashton Comprehensive in Blackrock, Cork, will get a new three-storey school building in August, with the completion of a major €6.7 million construction project led by Callaghan Engineering.

Begun in May 2012, the project included a new three-storey purpose built post-primary school to cater for 525 pupils. The project showcased Callaghan Engineering's expertise in the mechanical and electrical design of protected structures commenced two years ago.
