Financial management is now a priority for Cork's business people, according to Andrew Guerin, managing director of taxation and business advisory firm Andrew Guerin & Associates.

Guerin said the trend was in sharp contrast to the attitude to personal wealth that emerged at the onset of recession. "People put their heads in the sand in recent times, but now they are facing up to their financial issues and taking action," he said.
