Cork 2012: Bam success built on diversification

As a response to the recession, construction firm Bam Contractors has sought to do more work abroad, writes Michelle Devane.

A monumental photograph of Wexford Bridge hangs high above the foyer in the headquarters offices of Bam Contractors.

The bridge was the first project the company worked on and it's one of the projects of which chief executive Theo Cullinane is most proud of. It reminds him of where the company has come from, and fires his determination to keep it going.
