Hard-top coupe convertibles are all the rage these days. The latest is the new Volvo C70. This new car is based on the platform of the latest Volvo S40/V50, Ford Focus et al and, name aside, it shares nothing in common with the C70 model introduced in 1996.

The new Volvo is the first convertible to feature a three-part roof, as all other existing metal coupe roofs are two-part.
