Irish organisations are looking to converged IP networks primarily as a way of cutting costs, according to a recent IDC survey sponsored by BT. In what the report described as a ‘‘narrow view of the potential of convergence’’ only four out of ten organisations chose a supplier based on an assessment of the solutions available.
