Continental Farmers H1 profits surge to €3.5m

Continental Farmers Group, the Ukrainian and Polish agricultural crop producer, has reported pre-tax profits of €3.5 million in the first half, an increase of 202 per cent.

Continental Farmers Group, the Ukrainian and Polish agricultural crop producer, has reported pre-tax profits of €3.5 million in the first half, an increase of 202 per cent.

The company, which is listed on the Enterprise Securities Market (ESM) of the Irish Stock Exchange, said it had 26,100 hectares under crop for the 2012 harvest, an increase of 42 per cent on 2011.
