Contempt charges dropped against Peter Hain

The Attorney General for Northern Ireland has dropped contempt charges against former Northern Secretary Peter Hain after the politician apologised for remarks made in his memoirs about a Northern judge.

The Attorney General for Northern Ireland has dropped contempt charges against former Northern Secretary Peter Hain after the politician apologised for remarks made in his memoirs about a Northern judge.

The case was due to be heard on June 19th.
