Consumers favour supermarkets over specialist stores

A new survey has found that consumers are choosing to buy meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products in supermarkets, rather than butchers, fishmongers or other specialist stores.

A new survey carried out on behalf of Checkout magazine has found that a majority of consumers are choosing to buy fresh meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products in supermarkets, rather than butchers, fishmongers or other specialist stores.
