Consumer prices up 1.7% in a year

Inflation was 1.7 per cent higher in June compared to the same month twelve months ago, according to the latest consumer price index data.

Inflation was up 1.7 per cent in June compared to the same month twelve months ago, according to the latest consumer price index data released by the Central Statistics Office.

Consumer prices in June, as measured by the CPI, decreased by 0.2 per cent in the month, compares to a decrease of 0.1 per cent recorded in June of last year.
