Tax expert Alan Moore has branched into a new direction with his recently-published crime novel, writes Emma Kennedy.

The tax consultant, who has already published tax guides, a number of poetry collections and is a board member of Poetry Ireland, has self-publishe his thriller, Cut, as an ebook via Amazon. To avoid being confused with the English author of the same name, Moore published the crime thriller under his pen name, Frank McGrath.
