Construction halted on Limerick private hospital

Building work on a 92-bed private hospital in Limerick has yet to resume, after work on the project stopped over the summer.

Building work on a 92-bed private hospital in Limerick has yet to resume, after work on the project stopped over the summer.

The private hospital is being developed by Blackberry Park Properties, which initially said that the hospital would be taking patients in 2007.

A spokesman for Blackberry, which was founded by developer Shay Sweeney, said the firm was in advanced negotiations with a hospital operator.
