Considerable overseas interest in Allsop auction of properties

The range of buyers at the auction - which had a strong retail showing - included people with Israeli, Thai, Hong Kong and British addresses, writes Donal Buckley

As many as 22 retail investment properties in Dublin and around the country generated €3.77 million of the €11.2 million in sales at the Allsop Space auction in the RDS, Dublin last week.

All but one of the retail properties sold at or over their guide prices, and one of them achieved a relatively keen gross yield of 7.72 per cent.
