Exploration firm Conroy Gold and Natural Resources has raised £750,000 through a share placing, it said in an announcement to the stock exchange this morning.
The company, which is planning to develop Ireland's first commercial gold mine at Clontibret in Co. Monaghan, said it had raised the money conditionally through an oversubscribed placing of 75,000,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 in the capital of the company at a price of 1 pence sterling per share.
