New research by Sage Ireland has found that 60 per cent of Irish businesses are not aware of the National Payments Plan (NPP).
New research by Sage Ireland has found that 60 per cent of Irish businesses are not aware of the National Payments Plan (NPP). The NPP is a government initiative which aims to make savings of Euro 1 billion annually to the Irish economy by increasing the use of electronic forms of payment, such as debit cards and electronic banking.
''SMEs are the biggest users of cheques, accounting for 43 per cent of cheques received in Ireland.
