A price war in the condom market is in the pipeline after a major German manufacturer signed a deal with an Irish distributor to enter the high street market in the Republic for the first time.

A price war in the condom market is in the pipeline after a major German manufacturer signed a deal with an Irish distributor to enter the high street market in the Republic for the first time.

German brand Vitalis, which is popular in 20 countries, will appear on shelves in Irish retailers and pharmacies as a result of the deal with Cork firm Lark Solutions.
