Investors in Standard Life could lose out on a windfall of up to €1,450 if they fail to confirm their address and policy details with the British insurer and meet other conditions.

An information pack sent to members last week outlines the details of the proposed demutualisation of Standard Life, due to happen before July.

If the demutualisation proceeds, Standard Life will be listed on the London Stock Exchange.
