Fine Gael TDs have expressed concern about plans by the Minister for Health, James Reilly, to require public hospitals to increase revenue from private health insurers.

Reilly announced budget plans last week for public hospitals to charge health insurers the full cost of treating private patients, irrespective of whether they were allocated a public or private bed.
