Comreg chairman appointed CEO of new UK competition authority

ComReg chairman Alex Chisholm has been appointed as chief executive of Britain’s newly established Competition and Markets Authority.

ComReg chairman Alex Chisholm has been appointed as chief executive of Britain’s newly established Competition and Markets Authority.

Chisholm will take up his new role on 25th March and has agreed to stay on in current role in ComReg until early March. He was appointed to ComReg in 2007, and has served as chairman of the communications regulator for over three years.
