A litany of new cases of alleged financial irregularities at Fás has been uncovered as part of an investigation by Comptroller & Auditor General John Buckley.

A litany of new cases of alleged financial irregularities at Fás has been uncovered as part of an investigation by Comptroller & Auditor General John Buckley.

Buckley has asked the state training agency, which has a budget of €1 billion, to provide his office with extensive files in relation to internal audits. The files are understood to reveal missing assets, including cars and computers, as well as ‘‘systemic’’ procurement issues at training centres...
