Competition Authority to seek FitFlop order

The Irish company which distributes FitFlop shoes and sandals has been investigated by the Competition Authority for anti-competitive practices.

The Irish company which distributes FitFlop, a range of shoes and sandals that claim to tone leg muscles, has been investigated by the Competition Authority for anti-competitive practices.

The state competition watchdog will apply to the courts in the coming days to ratify an agreement forcing the company, Double Bay Enterprises, to alter the terms and conditions it imposes on retailers selling the footwear.
