The Competition Authority is poised to carry out a full investigation into Kerry Group’s proposed €165 million purchase of Breeo Foods from Reox Holdings, the former Dairygold cooperative.
The state competition watchdog is currently concluding its phase one investigation into the deal, but is set to notify the parties in the coming days that it intends to carry out a full investigation, according to senior market sources.
