Eight community organisations benefited from the recent closure of the M3 Clonee-toKells motorway site office, as 17 Portakabins valued at €500,000 were shared between them.

During the three years of construction of the €1 billion 60-kilometre project, architects, engineers, designers and foremen used the Portakabins as offices.

Following its completion last June,M3 road committee chairman Seamus Magee was asked to find a home for the Portakabins.
