Late surge in Irish retail property returns in 2015

The Henry Street and Mary Street areas recorded modest rental growth, but double-digit capital growth brings it to 18.4 per cent this year

Irish commercial property achieved almost four times the returns of the Irish stock market in 2015, although the year’s 27.1 per cent returns were lower than the previous year’s record breaking 40 per cent performance.

These are among the findings in the latest IPD/SCSI Ireland Quarterly Property Index published by global investment data experts MSCI Inc.
