The commercial property sector continues to employ thousands of people in Ireland directly and indirectly. Despite the difficult market conditions, property firms have continued to employ new graduates and provide new opportunities for young people.

However, the sector is in desperate need of new international investors. Irish banks and funds need cash, but commercial property investments will be attractive only if there is certainty of cash-flow and low transaction costs.
