If anyone was hopeful that the worst of the recent economic woes and market strife might be over in the next few months, a note from Royal Bank of Scotland could ruin their summer.

A client report from the bank’s strategy team last week painted a picture worthy of a Hollywood doomsday blockbuster. The bank warned that the worst crash in 100 years may be just around the corner.
