Comer brothers plan a rival to Coolmore Stud

Irish-born developers to invest millions in multi-site racehorse breeding venture in Ireland, Britain and France.

Galway-born developers Luke and Brian Comer are advancing plans for a major international racehorse breeding venture of the calibre of the famous Coolmore Stud.

The plasterers turned self-made property magnates plan to buy and breed hundreds of thoroughbreds in five locations across Ireland, Britain and later France.

“Ireland will be a major part of it,” Luke Comer told The Sunday Business Post.
