Comans made €3m profit in dispute year

Comans Wholesale, the Dublin pub and drinks business that was at the centre of a High Court dispute in 2004, made a pre-tax profit of almost €3million that year.

Comans Wholesale, the Dublin pub and drinks business that was at the centre of a High Court dispute in 2004, made a pre-tax profit of almost €3million that year.

Accounts recently filed by the firm show its turnover rose to €76.5 million in the year to the end of February 2004.

In the previous year, it had turnover of €75.6 million and made a pre-tax profit of €2.3 million.
