Colm Tóibín’s acclaimed novel, ‘Brooklyn’, is to be made into a feature film and Enniscorthy has been chosen as the location for the shooting of the Irish sequences.

The film, which will star Saoirse Ronan, Domhnall Gleeson, Emory Cohen and Julie Walters, is an adaptation of the novel by "Fever Pitch" author Nick Hornby.
