College startups set for major investment event

A number of enterprising college students will host an investment conference next Thursday aimed at getting student companies onto the radar of angel investors.

A number of enterprising college students will host an investment conference next Thursday aimed at getting student companies onto the radar of angel investors.

The Irish University Entrepreneurship Forum (IUEF), which takes place at the Innovation Academy at Fosters Place in Dublin's College Green, will seek to match a number of student companies with cash-rich investors.

The forum will be hosting six new student start-ups and two returning companies from last year. They are:
