In what posterity may see as the sale of the century, the Collection of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge¤ will go under the hammer in Par is this month. Saint Laurent bequeathed his joint share of the Collection to The Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent Foundation and the proceeds, estimated at between €200 and €300 million, will benefit global Aids research and other humanitarian projects.
