Sparkling frost swirls as we soak up the view of the gateway to Swedish Lapland. Lapporten, the awe-inspiring U-shaped valley formed by a glacier during the Ice Age, makes for a breakfast view with a difference but then we are far north, 200 kilometres above the Arctic Circle.
