Cognotec UK records small profit of $82,000

Cognotec UK, one of the main companies in the group founded and run by Dublin businessman Brian Maccaba, made a small profit on turnover of $12.3 million in 2003.

Cognotec UK, one of the main companies in the group founded and run by Dublin businessman Brian Maccaba, made a small profit on turnover of $12.3 million in 2003.

The company, which sells foreign exchange dealing software to banks, made a pre-tax profit of just under $82,000 in the year to the end of November 2003, according to accounts just filed.

In the previous year, it made a pre-tax profit of $211,400 on turnover of $13.1 million.
