Cloud: Progression makes sense

Small firms are reaping rewards from the cloud that are more about availability and convenience than saving money. Ian Campbell reports.

Many of Ireland's IT services companies have been busy reinventing themselves to accommodate the cloud phenomenon.

Since last November IT Force has noticed an upsurge in interest with businesses asking more cloud questions, prompting the company to host monthly 'lunch and learn' sessions.

"It's all about education," said Joe Molloy, managed services director, "helping small and medium-sized companies who have ageing IT systems and are looking to do things differently."
