A sign of the times is the way in which IBM's revenue focus has shifted over the past decade in Ireland, as the company adjusts to the latest instalment in its never-ending evolution. Once famous as a hardware company, it was software led by the early 2000s. Then, in the last ten years, it successfully turned itself into a services organisation.
