The cloud is fundamentally changing the way businesses approach ICT, according to Paul Hourican, chief executive of the PFH Technology Group, and is becoming a boardroom discussion. "At senior executive level they see it as a way of getting the IT monkey off their backs. They want to get rid of a lot of commodity infrastructure such as Exchange and Outlook. It's a no-brainer; it's economies of scale," he said.
