Cloud Computing: Gap in the cloud for service wrap

Google and Amazon threatened to dominate the cloud market, but it turns out they leave plenty of room for other players. Ian Campbell talks to one of those players.

When the cloud first appeared over the horizon, it promised a new simplicity in IT service delivery. At the same time, the likes of Amazon and Google began to establish themselves as global cloud platform providers, well-practised in economies of scale that gave them the prowess to dominate the market.
