The Clontarf Baths could finally be redeveloped under a new proposal before Dublin City Council.

Abbeybeg, the company owned by former Olympic swimmer Stephen Cullen, has lodged planning permission to demolish the existing sheds, outbuildings and outdoor pool on the site and replace them with a day spa.

The new spa would have a swimming pool, vitality pool, treatment rooms, gym, outdoor terraces and balconies, a yoga room, shop, hair salon, spa cafe and changing...
