Clock ticking for Setanta Insurance customers
Irish customers of the collapsed insurer have just days left to find an alternative provider, writes Emma Kennedy.
For tens of thousands of drivers, the recent collapse of Setanta Insurance left them seeking alternative insurance cover in a hurry.
The company, which sold car and van insurance here, was authorised to write business in Ireland by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), and was not subject to prudential regulation by the Central Bank of Ireland.
