Clinic owners ‘happy’ despite €3.5m loss

The Whitfield Clinic in Waterford lost about €3.5million last year, but its owners have said they are happy with its performance.

The Whitfield Clinic in Waterford lost about €3.5million last year, but its owners have said they are happy with its performance.

The hospital, developed by dentist Jim Madden and his property developer wife Mary, was opened in 2007. Dermot Ryan, chief financial officer at Euro Care International, the company behind the hospital, said its business was increasing steadily.
