The National Concert Hall has just released details of its most prestigious event, the International Concert Series 2013-2014, writes Dick O'Riordan.

The National Concert Hall has just released details of its most prestigious event, the International Concert Series 2013-2014. Altogether there are more than 20 concerts with two new strands adding interest and variety. These include choral concerts and Sunday matinée series.

Star names always add spice to this launch, and the return visits of superstar pianist Lang Lang, baritone Thomas Hampson, and violinists Joshua Bell and Nicola Benedetti, are sure to keep punters happy.
