This Tuesday will be a landmark day for Dublin trumpet player Niall O'Sullivan, a former member of the Artane Boys Band, who will make his debut solo performance with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra at the National Concert Hall, an experience he describes as "a dream come true".

The young musician says he is forever grateful to the famous band in his locality which he joined aged eight.
