Great Tales of the Elders

*The superb National Chamber Choir will present the world premiere of Tales of the Elders, a newly commissioned work based on a medieval Irish text, Acallam na Senórach, at concerts in Dublin and Belfast this week.

The 12th century Gaelic narrative is 8,000 lines long and regarded as the longest surviving tale in medieval Irish literature.
