Dublin's City Channel will spend about €200,000 on an advertising campaign over the next three months, according to founder David Harvey.

The 24-hour local television channel, which will run on the NTL's standard digital platform throughout the week, will launch this Tuesday.

Ex-Crimeline presenter Harvey, said he had received a “very positive'‘ response from advertisers, and has already signed a number of high-profile programme sponsors.
