Citi Bank to close Waterford office

Citi Bank is to close its office at IDA industrial estate in Waterford with the loss of 50 jobs as part of a wider global restructuring.

Citi Bank is to close its office at IDA industrial estate in Waterford with the loss of 50 jobs as part of a wider global restructuring.

Up to half the staff could be redeployed to Citi’s Dublin operation from the office, which deals with hedge fund services. The bank has said that it remains committed to its Irish operation and employs over 2,000 people here.
