Cisco’s recruitment drive in the west
The multinational firm is having a recruitment drive for its R&D centre in Galway and hopes to keep expanding it over the next few years, writes Dermot Corrigan
Cisco is planning to expand its research and development activities in Galway this year.
The company is recruiting test engineers, visual designers, product marketing managers and software architects, with more jobs likely to be created before the end of the year.
‘‘We have about 130 people in total employed here and we will grow that this year,” said Mike Conroy, general manger of Cisco’s R&D centre in Galway.
