Software developed by Dublin firm Corvil has been integrated into the latest products being shipped worldwide by Cisco, the US telecoms equipment giant.

Software developed by Dublin firm Corvil has been integrated into the latest products being shipped worldwide by Cisco, the US telecoms equipment giant.

The deal with the $116 billion US company is a major boost for Corvil, which was founded in 2000 and has developed software to measure and manage traffic on networks. Donal Byrne, the chief executive of Corvil, said the deal gave Corvil a key advantage over its competitors.
