A €3 million cinema is to open in Rathmines in Dublin this November – ten years after the company behind it first applied for planning permission.

A €3 million cinema is to open in Rathmines in Dublin this November – ten years after the company behind it first applied for planning permission.

The three-screen, 571-seater Swan Cinemas is being developed by Omniplex, which is owned by the Ward Anderson group. Building work started last month and the provisional opening date is November 20, according to Mark Anderson, operations manager of Omniplex.
