The majority of farmers in Ireland still have no internet access on their farms or in their homes.
A new survey from satellite broadband provider Onwave found that 61 per cent of farmers have no internet access. A further 19 per cent are still on dial-up or other narrowband services.
The survey was conducted at the recent National Ploughing Championships.
