CIB News: EMC pushes SMEs into cloud

EMC has announced that it is to build a new cloud innovation centre that will help Irish SMEs to develop and test their cloud products.

EMC has announced that it is to build a new cloud innovation centre that will help Irish SMEs to develop and test their cloud products and subsequently showcase them to public and private sector customers.

The initiative, called Cloud4Gov, is being undertaken from Cisco, VMware, VCE and IDA Ireland.

Cloud4Gov will allow users to develop and demonstrate their products too all government departments and agencies within a closed environment.
