Carlow-based internet hosting provider Blacknight is refusing to sell generic top-level domains (gTLD) due to concerns over Irish and EU law.
The domains, which are new suffixes for websites in lieu of the likes of .ie and .com, can only be provided by providers which sign the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers' (ICANN) 2013 contract.
